Halloween Partay!

I know what all of you are thinking who know Thayne really REALLY well. Your thinking "Is he dressed up?" Ha ha Yep! When we got invited to this party my friend told me if you don't dress up you will be the only ones who didn't. I told Thayne that and he was such a good sport and said he would dress up. He is not one for dressing up. Not that he is dressed up much in his little boy cowboy hat and a cowboy shirt. He said he did a cowboy cuz I always joke that I wish he was a cowboy. But I really know why he did a cowboy, it was the easiest costume. How can I complain though I was just so happy he did it and he had fun! He is such a good hubby to put up with me so willingly. And thanks to the Stoners for inviting us it was so much fun, and the food was absolutely amazing she went all out and made cafe rio salad! It worked out perfect since we will be missing Halloween this year. We will be leaving for our Cruise tomorrow WAHOOOOOOO I am so excited!!!!!! Can you tell?:) I will post about it and about our Lake Powell trip when we get back. But for now just be thinking of us in the hot sun! O and just so you know I didn't forget about little Kate she is going to get all dressed up for Halloween too before we leave. Even though she isn't going trick or treating I have to get her all dressed up for her very first Halloween. I don't have that picture yet though so I guess your just going to have to wait. I know your all sitting on the edge of your seat...

Does anyone notice what's different?

If you guess Kate got her ears pierced your right! I felt so bad when they were getting ready to do it. She screamed so loud. I surprised Thayne with it when we got home. He loved them except for the fact that she had to go through pain to get them. But now she is fine and I think they are so cute!!

About 3 weeks ago I got the chance to go to the Dierks Bentley and Brad Paisley concert with my sister and Cassie. It was so much fun! The concert was so loud that after we left I felt like I had to yell to talk cuz my ears were ringing so bad. Dierks and Brad were a good combination together. You have your hott stud muffin Dierks (did I really just say that) don't worry babe I still think your hotter:) Then you have your sweet Country guy Brad the kind that sweeps you off your feet. Haha anyways just ignore me. In short it was SO MUCH FUN!!!!

Kate's blessing Day

This last Sunday we finally got to bless Kate. Thayne's friend joked that she is so old to be being blessed that after Thayne blessed her she would be walking back to me. Fortunately she didn't:) It was an amazing day. We got to spend time with our family and closest friends. Thayne gave such a special blessing, I wish I could have recorded it to remember forever and to give to Kate one day in a journal or something. I am the luckiest girl in the world to have Thayne. He loves his family so much! When we went to get Kate's blessing dress from his moms house since she made it for us (thank you Becky it was gorgeous) he started to get teary eyed just looking at it. He has such a soft heart. All day he kept picking Kate up and saying "This is your special day" and Kate would just look at him with big eyes and smile like she knew it was.

Kate's new thing is smiling. She is such a happy baby! If you give her any type of attention she get the biggest smile on her face. She has just started cooing now too. I got a video of it and I keep trying to upload it but it won't work so I will put it in another post when I can figure it out. Here are some updated pictures of her. She has already changed so much. I was looking at pictures of her in the hospital the other day and she was so tiny. Now she is already 3 months and about 11 pounds! We are just trying to love every minute of her it goes by way to fast.
The other day I put Kate on my bed while I was getting ready for bed and all the sudden Hunter jumps up on the bed right next to her, cuddled up and went right to sleep.

The swimming pool and Utah Lake

Since I have had Kate I got to stay home this summer. Which means I got to go to the swimming pool more. Last year I got a pass to go and hardly went cuz I would get home after work and be to tired to want to go. But this year I have been meeting Thayne during his lunch break to go swimming. It has been so fun to get to see him in the middle of the day so he could see his little girl. We also have been going boating but I haven't really gotten any pictures of us going this year cuz I always forget my camera but we went last Saturday and I didn't forget my camera this time. We even got Hunter up on the Ski's this time. I don't think he really loved it though. Kate was a really good sport with her life jacket as long as the boat was moving. What is with babies when they are moving they stop crying. Like if you sit down they cry. If you stop at a stop light in the car they cry but as soon as you start moving again they are just fine. That is exactly how Kate was with the boat. So we just tried to keep the boat moving at all times. Of course nobody complained about that:)

The same weekend we went to Heber we also went to Wyoming to be there while my sister blessed her cute little boy Ryan. He had such a cute little blessing outfit. My sister is an amazing host and gave everyone homemade jam for coming up. We would have come up whether she had the jam or not:) Thayne sure was happy though since his wife doesn't do stuff like that. Maybe one day I will. Anyways while we were up there I also did a family picture for my entire family. We gave that to my mom as a christmas present last year and I am just now getting to it. I set up my camera on a tripod and ran into the picture before it took. I think they turned out pretty good. Thanks everyone for being so patient with me!
